There are two types of magnetic flux motors, one is radial flux, and the other is axial flux, and while radial flux motors have brought the entire automotive industry into the era of electrification, axial flux motors perform better in every way: they are not only lighter and smaller, but also provide more torque and more power. The axial motor works differently from the radial motor. Its magnetic flux line is parallel to the rotating axis, which drives the rotor to rotate through the interaction between the permanent magnet (rotor) and the electromagnet. The technological innovation and mass production application of axial flux motors may effectively solve some outstanding problems currently facing the field of electric vehicles. When the stator coil is energized into an electromagnet, there will be N and S poles, and the rotor's N and S poles are fixed, according to the principle of the same pole repulsion, the rotor's S pole will be attracted by the stator's N pole, the rotor's N pole will be repulsed by the stator's N pole, so that a tangential force component is formed, thereby driving the rotor to rotate, through the coil in different positions. A stable tangential force is formed, and the rotor can also obtain a stable torque output. In order to increase the power, you can give the same current to the two adjacent coils at the same time and switch clockwise (or counterclockwise), through the motor controller to control the motor. The advantages of the axial motor is also obvious, it is lighter and smaller than the ordinary radial motor, because the torque = force x radius, so the axial motor under the same volume is larger than the radial motor torque, very suitable for high-performance models.
